Amy said "One of these is Rev. Todd Adams, pastor of Memorial Drive Christian Church in Houston, Texas. Todd has done quite a bit of D.Min. work on stewardship so I regularly turn to him for advice on the subject and have long thought it would be great to have him at Calvary."
Also "We finally got Todd here this weekend for several classes on stewardship and a sermon in worship Sunday morning." It has a very good helpful information on Stewardship. To understand the back round in identify member that need help or support.
I think it was a great way to understand the church more. I know now of some more of the heard work that the men and women do in the front office of Calvary.
For lunch Amy made a wonderful chicken salat. A great chicken salat. Question on who we should have offering being made to the church. What are the Pros and con that some do during service in the congration. Some try Laundry money at well to avoid paying tax's.
There more in it but I'm trying to keep it short on that Subject.
After I meet up with my parents for dinner at Phillip's Flagship. It was a nice dinner I LOVE SUSHI...

Today my one year in Calvary as everyone found out on my last two BLOG... Walking over to the choir studio and talking to we got to talk about the thing I found out that my other church, choir rehearsal. I know we should not think of owr self but think of other. But I am totally sorry. I enjoy the people in my church and my other church as well. Finding out that to not talk with my friend. Have lunch with church memeber. Meet new people that come by to wirship. It hard to do. I think the Director of Music and orgines is a wonderful person and a someone I enjoy talking to. I just don't know. I enjoy the sermon for today. The sermon titled was: So Where Is Your Heart? by Todd Adams. You can read more about the sermon on AMY BLOG. But in the end we all had M&M with a sticky said Mammon and Money Or. Mission and Ministry. It get you thinking. For more information what we did after service Go to my first year as pass on GOD MIN. If there a only five word I can sume up about Calvary. It hard to do now. But I'll find the word in my future BLOG.

It was nice to meet Rev. Todd Adams that was the guest for the stewardship for 2007. Using the bible and understand what the true meaning about giving. That 10% mean 10%. I truely say and what is and the moment of my tran from where I was to now.
If I can give more then half of my heart in the offering plate, I wood glade give... But I do... Even it just word and GOD only one can see. Then I hope to people understand way I have so much on my mine. Is because I'm not the on how sit and wait for something to happen. So that way I have two church in my life. Calvary that called me to. My feeling about First Baptist is alway there. But at the sametime my love for Calvary as stronge at First Baptist.
I know one thing in 07 is to turn up my stweardship to the next level. Not because I have to. Because I love to. What joy to prayes the lord with our song, prayes with thankgiving. Holy holy holy he has come to save us. My his love rain on this earth forever and ever. Aman.
Plus I enjoy my BLOG. At lase I can say what on my mind.

Movie Night under the Moon "The End"
It not the same picture but there are chairs. Popcorn machine and tables and more.
But I had fun seeing all the wonderful people sitting together watching a movie together. Back To The Future. It just some good fun.
I'm looking forward in next year movie night. And yes this time I'm going to all of them.
But I'm getting ahead of my self. Movie night is a wonderful time to get to know one another. To work with other church memebers. Get to bring out the chairs, popcorn machine, blow up balloons, Ice the bottle water, can sodas, "And yes always the non-diet soda alway runs out first." The screen, and all the wonderful thing to set-up for in under the moon. The majic of what a movie bring out a time to forget what the world is like. And see McFly go back in time to help his parent get together.
But is not the same for begining and end. The McFly has more then the same hum drum life. They have money and Marty has his dream car he alway whated.
I don't know if you can say it a some item you can bring in a church sermon. But only he had to do is have someone to talk to. George McFly is a loner a person that didn't get to have no many friends. A dreamer with some hope. But he needed some one to push him to go.
In the end George became a better person and all is well.
But in the end reality set in I get to get home. But it worth it to see the people of First Baptist Church of Washington, DC serving the comnuty of the last 204 year. I had McDonald's for dinner a Big Mac Not Supper Size me. I had a nice afternoon at the Dr King Library downtown Washington reading up on Calvary and First Baptist Church. Read to sleep some more after this BLOG.

BACK TO THE FUTURE NIGHT at First Baptist Chrch
Tonight I finally going to see a whole movie. I been setting up for the movie for the last two month. I had to work the next day, But I took the week off the enjoy my week around town. 
I gotten this off the flickr web page to show what some of the thing on the movie. When I first saw this movie on Theater I really like it so. When it gotten to Earl's Video store I been renting it and renting it and renting it. Until I finally buy it used for Earl's video and I played it to death... Yes After five year later I can't play it no more So I got it for $10.00 on VHS. But three year later they came out with the DVD. The gift set came out with Back to the Future I II III. Michelle J Fox... I whated to be like Michelle with I was going up. "Are you tell thing me you builded a time mashine out of a DeLorean. Is it run on Unleaded or reguler." No no no run on elctrical plutonium. Are you telling me this run on nuclear.
And you get the picture. Doc got shoot and McFly went back in time September 5, 1955.
There be free movie, popcorn, soda and fellowship. You'll be about to get a cool tie shirt Movie under the moon light. For only $10.00 last change for the year. Something to wear around the house, outing, picnics and BBQ. When ever you what to wear this fine shirt it profect way to say I had a good summer at the FBC summer of 06.

George Washington the first President of the United State of America.- I alway like his house from high school up to know.
- When I look a Georges house his kitchen on the side wood make a great little house. If you been there you see the kitchen in the fire place. The baken and more. The Cold storage was on behind you on your right, and to your left there storage to your left. Wood for the fire is one the outside.
- The main of his house was pland before he ever thinking about a kitchen. Rocking chairs on the back. His personal library. But the people of Washington whated to move George Washington house downtown.
- Downtown was all dirt roads horse and buggy rides.
- Also when I was in Elementary school I look up to George and Abraham Lincoln
This is from the second floor of Museum it looking towards the Archives-Navy Mem'l-Penn Quartor. Also it the The Post is on to the left. On the right is Spy Museum.Like I say everything has a memory... From a year to 30 year ago. This year me and a hand full of memeber when over to The Post .- The Post usto been a Post office for the city of Washington, DC Staff. They gone to move it out to North East Washington.
- The Street going from left to right was all walk way a park. I think because the trafic and the amount of homeless people useing it for home. DC trying to up it city for more busniess. They close to make it a road.
- A water fountain during the Summer month kids usto play in it and have fun. I whated to get in but my mother think there will be glass and other thing my make me sick. Then it was close when many homeless people was braking there bottes.
- Hecht's Company us to been by the verizon/MCI center. Hecht's Company use to been a place I got my toys when I was a kid and my father work down town.
- This museum been close for more then six plus years. I been there but never gave a though about the art work. I like the Air and Space Museum more then the Art gellary.
Some time change is great but change is hard also.
Monday August 21, 2006 "part 2 from GOD MIN"
Monday Aguest 21, 2006 GOD MIN BLOGI got my tape from Calvary. I had a good Sushi lunch before I pick up some more audio book from the Dr. King library. I still learning from the bible. So I been leasoning it on audio CD to understand and reading it on my own. Running over to the Metro Center to catch the S but to First Baptist Church of Washington, DC for the 12:00pm to 1:00pm prayers and other moment with GOD. My bus pass by I saw the frist door was close... I when in back found the grounds keeper and he ask me if I whated to sit in for the church. I said OK... It was only 40 min but I enjoy helping. picking up to sign in front and locking up for the day. I found they need some offering envelopes in the paws. It was very hot that day in the Sanctuary during the weekdays. I didn't mind helping.I pick up my tape for the week and started my way to Dopoint Cirule to read up some bible and leason to Jim sermon on David: Engine of Israel's Imagination, Summer Sermon Series. August 27, 2006 will be the end of the series. The title will be THE END.Getting the ice cream Sunday walking downback to First Baptist Church, I need some item from the hardware store. I look the other way for a good reaturant and found the hardware store, safeway, and the chinese resturant one of First Baptist taken to picture of the front window. I had Cafe Luna Washington, DC for dinner and it was half price posta night. I was finishing up on the sermon 8/28/2005 Excuses, Excuses Exodus 3:1-15 . I really enjoy it. But for me being starting I didn't get it until a month ago. It on one of my BLOG entry. Around 6:30pm I started my way to First Baptist to catch up on my bible. When a new comer came on in. We talk after a moment I was showing to Sanctuary, pulpit and gave him a small book they give out on the history of there church there in now. We went on back an start the summer group bible talk and more. It was about the missionary trip for the youth of First Baptist. That week they did over 45 house. Getting it ready for the people of New Orleans to rebuild there house. They work down in the Lower Ninth Ward. They showed a picture of North Claiborne Ave bridge when it was flooded. The high school kid can work in the house but the kid under high school help on the out side, mask, glove other cloth they need to work in New Orleans.
We ended to group with Psalm 46...

Today it been a nice day... As alway Saturday evening I been looking forward in going to my church. It because I been at my..... Other Church...I really like the sermon and the Gospel Lesson John 6:51-68. Some people what to stick with the old testament but I understand that with this from the bible. You can take the easy road or the hard road. With the Hard Road it come out sweet and take it to a new level. Where the easy You don't have any spice to it. Any way only the person can take that choice. I look up on the old testament Hebrew Lesson 1 Kings 2:10-12, 3:3-14 I stick with the first 2:10-12 one First I found that it was David father. That he when to the city of David a city he taken from the city of Jebusites. I could almost see the city big beauty full. David was a great KING... I found during my time this summer from Samuel, Saul and David... For being human we tend to sin in the eye's of GOD. But the king had made some bad move's. But that due's not mean there bad mens of that time. GOD love them like a son. He was happy they did his will but when they turn away from GOD they lost the protection what GOD gave that time. Plus that mean second book of Samuel goe's over to first book of Kings. I just found it out at 6:16pm today... O WoW!!! Eat First downtown china town. Food was good but the Hot and Sour Soup was... Don't order it stay away from it. Service was very good. Company at the table was nice I enjoy meeting the new people of Calvary. YES TWO NEW MEMEBER has join the fellowship of Calvary.Today I found one of the memeber of my church read my BLOG... Today I start at Starbuck on Penn Corador for my morning coffee. I was going over my memory book of the a love one that pass in June. I known her son in law and her_____... I enjoy remeber my time at Calvary that day.
From last week I been pondering about going to First Baptist Church on Sunday. But I did.
Today I meet half way to church to get a ride to church with one of the member. I like were he live at you can get any where at any time. But I'm happy he's there. Once I got there we was lucky in finding a parking at First Baptist it very little parking space or park a block away. When to fellowship hall for pancake bacon and more. Coffee was nice milk juice was there. We all taken a tray an stuff gift bag for the church member how lived in Thomas House and written a post card of First Baptist them like “to have a good day” “hope you enjoy you gift bag”. Plus “all our care and prayers Will”. I another person finish one. I wrote another post card. I made it.
We were talking more then I started up to the main church taking my seat. Finding out there was 15 minute until sermon started. I walk to each stained glass. Each stained glass window had a famous Baptist missionary a pastor and more. I will be looking it up later.
I had some black and white picture of another member apt when I was over there during the Country Cooking and the fellowship was greatDebbie was there and her husben Robert. He should it to a lot of people. I made his day. He put in two pictures from the picture I took and hope one of them make it to the picture of the week at First Baptist. Debbie was the pastor was preaching that day and she rarely get to preach because she the head of the ministries to children and their families. Jim was away for vacation for the wonderful sermon he has he should have a little now or then. After sermon I got to take more pictures when with another member upper North West Washington, DC had brunch talk some more. I gotten Egg Benedict. My lady that was with me got the BLT sandwitch and tea. I got to see more of Washington I haven’t been before. Don’t worry it an upper part of DC.
I found a gift for Jim this Thanksgiving Eve Sermon... Hope he has one or I needed to go one Sunday before Thanksgiving.
During service the lessons 1 kings 19: 4-8 was read by one of the deacon of the church then it click that the same one Amy did in June 27 or July 4 of 2004. Because I buy the cassette. I know bible is the same but remembering the tape was a click from my church and First Baptist. Even were two church were one bible.
I’m looking forward in being backed home next Sunday. Sometime we need to go away for a day or so to remind us that home is were to heart is.

Pastor Debbie will be doing the sermon on that day and I'll be looking forward to her sermon... If you been to the First Baptist Church of Washington, DC you know Debbie has amazing way to tell the bible and the Lord prayer.

I'm looking for the Hot Pancakes....sausage....coffee, OJ, Milk...real maple syrup....and it'sall free! It is a wonderful time to spend time with my First Baptist family. Well summer time is almost coming to a close. The church will be seeing more people. School will start again

I'm looking forward in singing in the choir as a guest tenner some Sundays. I what to see what like to learn from a great Lon Schreiber. Lon Schreiber played at the Kenny Center for the 911 on September 11, 2005. To see his Play this Performance.
PLUS The MOVIE NIGHT'S at First Baptist
First was Spiderman: They had a nice size amout of people showed up. I only can stay a good half of the movie so I can get home for work...

Second was Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. A old time classic... Yes but don't what to stay up to long before I need my sleep. But I happy many people enjoy the movie.

Third was Raiders of the Lost Ark one of my movie I watch over and over again. It was a big turn out. Popcorn was poping the soft drink the chilling and don't know about the t-shirt. I enjoy being with this good people even if it was hard work I stick out.

Forth was Life is Beautiful I help bring the ice and setup the chairs. setup was fast. There were a good amout of young audit show to do the setup. But never at lease need to go. But wow I had souch a bad time going home... Sting on the but for a hour for the next but beacuese of the bus was out of service. And they had a problum with the wheel chair lift but it work after a third try. A detour because a shooting happen between my naberhood a Patomic Ave Station. Finally got home safe.

The last movie of the SUMMER... The block buster hit BACK TO THE FUTURE the first ave three. The one video I rent over and over again.

Untill I buy it. Buy the year 2002 it brook. I got a new copy for 10.00 for Suncoast Video in Pentagon City in Arlington, VA.
