Pondering on going to another church this Sunday

Today I start at Starbuck on Penn Corador for my morning coffee. I was going over my memory book of the a love one that pass in June. I known her son in law and her_____... I enjoy remeber my time at Calvary that day.

From last week I been pondering about going to First Baptist Church on Sunday. But I did.

Today I meet half way to church to get a ride to church with one of the member. I like were he live at you can get any where at any time. But I'm happy he's there. Once I got there we was lucky in finding a parking at First Baptist it very little parking space or park a block away. When to fellowship hall for pancake bacon and more. Coffee was nice milk juice was there. We all taken a tray an stuff gift bag for the church member how lived in Thomas House and written a post card of First Baptist them like “to have a good day” “hope you enjoy you gift bag”. Plus “all our care and prayers Will”. I another person finish one. I wrote another post card. I made it.

We were talking more then I started up to the main church taking my seat. Finding out there was 15 minute until sermon started. I walk to each stained glass. Each stained glass window had a famous Baptist missionary a pastor and more. I will be looking it up later.

I had some black and white picture of another member apt when I was over there during the Country Cooking and the fellowship was greatDebbie was there and her husben Robert. He should it to a lot of people. I made his day. He put in two pictures from the picture I took and hope one of them make it to the picture of the week at First Baptist. Debbie was the pastor was preaching that day and she rarely get to preach because she the head of the ministries to children and their families. Jim was away for vacation for the wonderful sermon he has he should have a little now or then. After sermon I got to take more pictures when with another member upper North West Washington, DC had brunch talk some more. I gotten Egg Benedict. My lady that was with me got the BLT sandwitch and tea. I got to see more of Washington I haven’t been before. Don’t worry it an upper part of DC.

I found a gift for Jim this Thanksgiving Eve Sermon... Hope he has one or I needed to go one Sunday before Thanksgiving.

During service the lessons 1 kings 19: 4-8 was read by one of the deacon of the church then it click that the same one Amy did in June 27 or July 4 of 2004. Because I buy the cassette. I know bible is the same but remembering the tape was a click from my church and First Baptist. Even were two church were one bible.

I’m looking forward in being backed home next Sunday. Sometime we need to go away for a day or so to remind us that home is were to heart is.
