Monday August 21, 2006 "part 2 from GOD MIN"
Monday Aguest 21, 2006 GOD MIN BLOGI got my tape from Calvary. I had a good Sushi lunch before I pick up some more audio book from the Dr. King library. I still learning from the bible. So I been leasoning it on audio CD to understand and reading it on my own.
Running over to the Metro Center to catch the S but to First Baptist Church of Washington, DC for the 12:00pm to 1:00pm prayers and other moment with GOD. My bus pass by I saw the frist door was close... I when in back found the grounds keeper and he ask me if I whated to sit in for the church. I said OK... It was only 40 min but I enjoy helping. picking up to sign in front and locking up for the day. I found they need some offering envelopes in the paws. It was very hot that day in the Sanctuary during the weekdays. I didn't mind helping.
I pick up my tape for the week and started my way to Dopoint Cirule to read up some bible and leason to Jim sermon on David: Engine of Israel's Imagination, Summer Sermon Series. August 27, 2006 will be the end of the series. The title will be THE END.
Getting the ice cream Sunday walking downback to First Baptist Church, I need some item from the hardware store. I look the other way for a good reaturant and found the hardware store, safeway, and the chinese resturant one of First Baptist taken to picture of the front window. I had Cafe Luna Washington, DC for dinner and it was half price posta night. I was finishing up on the sermon 8/28/2005 Excuses, Excuses Exodus 3:1-15 . I really enjoy it. But for me being starting I didn't get it until a month ago. It on one of my BLOG entry. Around 6:30pm I started my way to First Baptist to catch up on my bible. When a new comer came on in. We talk after a moment I was showing to Sanctuary, pulpit and gave him a small book they give out on the history of there church there in now. We went on back an start the summer group bible talk and more.
It was about the missionary trip for the youth of First Baptist. That week they did over 45 house. Getting it ready for the people of New Orleans to rebuild there house. They work down in the Lower Ninth Ward. They showed a picture of North Claiborne Ave bridge when it was flooded. The high school kid can work in the house but the kid under high school help on the out side, mask, glove other cloth they need to work in New Orleans.
We ended to group with Psalm 46...
God is our refuges and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.
