Fall Festival 2006
Hamburger, Hat Dog, Bake beans, corn, Jerk Chicken and soda was sold in the Fall Festival. The new Dunkin Donuts open on 1511 17th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036, USA. They brought there donuts and coffee to the Fall Festival to show there support for the naberhood. Bake sale was held as well and it was very good. Book, Music CD and DVD was on sale. I got my self a In living color DVD, bible, Young Frankenstein. Also I was taking picture. And no I didn't take this picture on top. My friend Paulo taken the picture from the roof top of the First Baptist Church. Soon I'll be post some of this picture on my blog sit. On the right side of the picture is me. I was takeing alot of picture on my new digital camera. It was a nice day. Many showed and supported the church.
There were two live band and one of the group Ryan Walker's band, "The Beanstalk Library"was handing out demo CD of there work.
The moonbounce and activities for children was great.
The charities with their boothes handing out information about was they can help.
I enjoy the actives and so many people showed.
Next sunday we will be heading to the church-Wide Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Trip on a steam locomotive on Saturday, October 21, in Cumberland, Maryland from 11:30 to 3:00. The train ride includes narration and scenery while you journey up the mountain to Frostburg and time for lunch and shopping in Frostburg. There will be opportunities to see the Thrasher Carriage Museum, to tour the C & O Canal Visitors Center, and to take a walking bridge across Wills Creek to George Washington’s Headquarters. Tickets sold out.
